Lake Scott State Park
This park has a pretty small lake compared to other state parks we have visited, but regardless it’s still pretty. Our campsite is close to lake, about 30 yards away. It is fairly clean and well maintained. Our site is a back-in space as we are located on the outer edge of the campground, but the interior sites are pull-through. Parking area is gravel/dirt and has a slope so we had to use our Andersen levelers. We have electric and water hook ups. I did read that there are about 7 sites that have full hook ups. The sites are close to each other, only about 8-10 feet apart, but there are some trees in the area. We have great LTE reception here! There are a variety of things to do here, like fishing, kayaking, SUP, and there is a small swim beach where a small general store is located and rents out kayaks and paddle boats for $15/hour. The cost is $23/night for electric/water hook up sites.
