Cheney State Park
Tonight we are at Cheney State Park, camping in the South Loop. Sites here are very open and spacious. I’m not sure in the other campgrounds, but the South Loop sites are all pull-through. It’s actually hard to see where to park as our entire site was in grass and there was no designated pad or dirt area to park in. So, we pretty much parked right next to the hook ups, which are electric and water. Dump sites are near the park entrance. There is also a picnic table and fire pit. We are in walking distance to the lake. We got cell reception, but not great and LTE is a little slow. Not a ton of trees here, so get used to see all your neighbors who are near you, but not right next to you. Camping is $23/night for water/electric hook up sites.
